TESLA'S BOUNDARY LAYER TURBINES & PUMPS

Who: Peter Richards, President of the Australian Nikola Tesla Society ( A.N.T.S.)

What: The topic of this months meeting is titled "Tesla's Boundary Layer Turbines & Pumps"

Peter has been involved with, and has actively researched many of Nikola Tesla's inventions and designs. He has recently set up a company to further develop and promote some of Tesla's lesser known inventions, in particular, Tesla's Bladeless Pumps and Turbines.

Throughout the evening, Peter will focus on;

• The operating principles of turbine and pumps.
• A comparison of the Possell design vs the Tesla design.
• A brief history of Tesla's turbines, and ideas for its application.
• Known turbine test results of units built under Tesla's own hand.
• Problems of Conventional design vs Boundary Layer design.

There are many of Nikola Tesla's inventions of which we hear very little. This is one more peice to the puzzle of the man who was the most prolific inventor of this century.

It will be a Great Night, Don't Miss It.
